The heartbreaking visuals and the sizzling chemistry between the lead pair (Jiiva and Tapasee) have raised expectations almost sky high. The first half is impressive with Santhanam's mimicry and rib-tickling one liners. Thaman's music is another major highlight of the film and the much talked about wood-house in Kerala is a treat for the eyes. Overall, Vandhaan Vendraan is a good family entertainer with some interesting twists!

Flashback: Two half-brothers turned enemies are constantly at war against each other. Small misunderstandings escalate into big arguments; finally, one day, the elder throws the younger brother into a well and runs away.

Cut to present era: Enter hero Arjun (Jiiva), an aspiring boxer who also sings numerous duets with his girlfriend Anjana (Tapasee). We also have the suave and stylish Ramana (Nandha), a villain in his own way. Arjun's life takes a U turn when Anjana's father refuses his love and is accidentally killed by Ramana. Suprisingly, Anjana accepts Arjun's marriage proposal but on one condition; he has to reveal Ramana's truth (innocence) to the law. Then the cat and mouse game begins between Arjun and Ramana. Get ready for a big and interesting twist at the end of the film!
